the side mounts go into the lower A/C bracket mount and the smaller tranny mount?
what?
a pair of inserts goes into the lower tranny mount you can see in the passenger side wheelwell.
the other pair go into the lower engine mount you see from the drivers side wheelwell.
i see said the blind man as he picked up his hammer and saw.....

Keep in mind that the ES mounts are designed to reduce engine torque.
The upper drivers side mount and the upper (top) transmission mount are the rotational points... that is, they are the axis in which the motor rotates from front to back. Putting poly mounts in these two locations does not accomplish much, as they are not reducing the "twisting" motion of the motor. This is where the other three mounts come in.
Does this make better sense now ?!?

I installed my ES mounts during the swap. I had the entire GSR and Civic front sub-assemblies removed from both cars though.
My mounts were EASY! http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif . Took about 25 min for all 3.
Good luck to everyone who attempts doing this with the motor still in the car.
